The piece undergoes a specialised washing process to achieve a plush, refined finish. Its defining feature is the meticulously executed three-level carving, where a single dyed colour is developed across three distinct pile heights. The lightest tone sits on the uppermost layer, transitioning into a slightly deeper middle layer and the darkest shade at the deepest level.

This carefully controlled interplay of light, shade and dimension gives Relief its distinctive sculptural character. A considered expression of material, craftsmanship and contemporary design.
